Local Surgeon Among 1,622 Initiated Into American College Of Surgeons
WASHINGTON, DC – Dr. Sina Kasraeian was among 1,622 Initiates from around the world who became Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) during the Convocation ceremony at the College’s 2013 annual Clinical Congress in Washington, DC, last month. This year’s class of Initiates was among one of the largest ever admitted into the College.
Dr. Kasraeian received a medical doctorate degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Kasraeian is a partner at Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine and has a strong professional interest and extensive training in arthroscopy and sports medicine reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Kasraeian holds membership in other professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
