Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine Celebrates 20th Anniversary
St. Augustine, FL (February, 2019) – Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine (OASA) is excited to announce the company’s 20 year business anniversary. OASA was formed when Doctors James Grimes and Albert Volk joined their practices in 1999. The multi-specialty team has grown and today includes Drs. Kurtis Hort, Brian Haycook, Sina Kasraeian, Paul Roettges, Alexander Lampley, Casey McClone, and Beth Pearce.
As the only all-inclusive, orthopaedic practice in St. Johns County, OASA offers the highest continuity of care to its patients by providing all facets of orthopaedic treatment. Founding partner, James Grimes, shared the initial concept, “OASA was created to coordinate care among physicians. We brought on additional orthopaedic specialists, non-operative sports medicine, podiatry, and physical therapy, all of which provides convenient, dedicated care for our patients.”
“The future of orthopaedics is exciting,” Al Volk shared. “Artificial Intelligence models coupled with computer navigation and biologic treatments will markedly improve patient outcomes. These advances will allow us to continue to develop methods to provide targeted care, not just for each problem but for each specific type of problem in each individual.”
Independently, privately owned OASA has continued to evolve. In addition to the facility on the Flagler Hospital campus, a second location was added in 2009 on County Road 210 to serve the growing needs of the community. Monica Jones, clinic manager and St. Augustine local sums up her 20 plus year tenure, “I love the people I work with, and I walk in the door every day excited to see our patients recover and feel better.”
