Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine Welcomes Two Physicians
St. Augustine, FL (August 16, 2019 ) – Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine (OASA) a leader in Orthopaedic patient care, is pleased to announce that Dr. Paul Roettges and Dr. Alexander Lampley have joined the Practice.
Paul Roettges, MD
Dr. Roettges is a First Coast native and a graduate of the University of Southern California. He received his medical degree from Loyola University. He went on to study Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and completed his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Roettges performs hip and knee replacements and has additional training and interest in anterior hip replacements, revisions, as well as complex unresolved hip and knee pain. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association and American Association of Knee and Hip Surgery.
Alexander Lampley, MD
Dr. Lampley graduated with honors from Bucknell University and Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. After studying Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, he completed his fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the esteemed Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Lampley specializes in the treatment of all disorders of the upper extremity including shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand pathology in both adults and children. He is trained in arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgical approaches such as endoscopic carpal tunnels, and microvascular surgery. Dr. Lampley has particular interests in peripheral nerve surgery, sports-related injuries, arthritis surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, trauma surgery, and upper extremity reconstruction utilizing nerve transfers and tendon transfers. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Piedmont Orthopaedic Society.
