Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine will be providing ImPACT Concussion Software to the local high schools, including Pedro Menendez High School, St. Joseph’s Academy Catholic High School, Flagler Palm Coast High School and Matanzas High School.
Developed by clinical experts who pioneered the field, ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) is the most-widely used and most scientifically validated computerized concussion evaluation system.
ImPACT is part of an overall concussion management protocol in place to care for student athletes at these schools. Providing ImPACT is another way that the Sports Medicine Team at Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine provides care for the community.
