Referral Coordinator

Location: St Augustine
Department: Front Office


  • Processes insurance verifications on all scheduled patient
  • Provides assistance with insurance inquiries from the front desk
  • Process and schedule all incoming patient referral appointments
  • Authorizations: enters info into patients’ charts, check for expiration dates prior to appt. and send for authorization if expired


  • Minimum eighteen months experience working in a physician office
  • High school diploma required

Required Skills:

  • Must have a team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively to patients and associates
